About the event

This year, our goal is to raise $1,500 on #GivingTuesday. We are equally excited to launch our President's Challenge! As part of our President's Challenge, our Board of Directors President (JoAnna Simek) will match dollar-for-dollar every donation received on #GivingTuesday! Many companies also make matching contributions, which means every $10 you donate could turn into $30!!

We are delighted to partner with two other downtown businesses; Byers Brewery who will be serving a sample beer tasting, and El Jimador who will be offering amazing Mexican style appetizers! We will also be live on Facebook throughout the evening, highlighting our company dancers and giving updates as we get closer and closer to reaching our #GivingTuesday goal.

We also invite you to tour our Dimensions Ballroom studio, where we have completed Phase 1 of the renovations needed to turn this historic space into a beautiful performance and studio space. The next phase includes purchasing seating and tables, transforming the area into a performance and community use venue. This is a critical component to fulfilling our mission of offering additional performance opportunities for our dancers while at the same time reaching more community members who can share in our love of ballet and the arts.

Giving Tuesday will kick off our year-end giving season, culminating with Coppelia's winter ballet performance on January 28 and 29 at the historic Egyptian Theatre! We invite you to join us again for this beautiful production.

With generous donations from people like you, we can continue the important work we have started: supporting the beauty and artistry of ballet and dance for the greater DeKalb community. We believe supporting local youth in their pursuit of ballet is important to their continued growth and development. Thank you so much for your consideration. We wish you and your family a wonderful holiday season!
